Mission
|
Professional Service Group (PSG) is a program administered by the
Department of Labor and Workforce Development to assist “professionals
in transition”. It functions as a dynamic self-help organization of
professionals helping professionals, under the supervision and
guidance of the Department of Labor’s PSG Facilitator. By pooling the
talents of the members, PSG members help each other to facilitate a
timely return to work and also provide organizations with an immediate
source of skilled and experienced personnel for their recruiting
needs.

The Camden Professional Service
Group (PSG) carries out its mission through providing:

Job-matching, job search assistance, and career counseling
services offered by
the professional staff of the One-Stop Career Center.

Extensive networking opportunities for members.

Job search workshops led by members and/or area professionals.

Guest speaker events.
-
And a supportive environment encouraging mutual support among
members.

The Camden One-Stop provides the
Professional Service Group with dedicated meeting space, equipped with
Internet-enabled PC’s, printer, copier, fax and phone, at no cost for
active members in good standing.

An Orientation for new members is
held every Monday morning (except for legal holidays), starting at
8:45 a.m. (3 hour meeting) at the Camden One-Stop Career Center, 2600
Mt. Ephraim Avenue, Suite 102, Camden, NJ 08104.
