To join the Professional Service Group you must:
 

  1. Be registered with the New Jersey State Employment Services and provide a resume to be data entered into America’s One-Stop Operating System.

  2. Attend a New Member Orientation and complete the required paperwork.

  3. Choose a committee and sign up for the Yahoo Group.
     

To be considered a full, active member you must:
 

  1. Participate actively by attending on average approximately 3 hours per week at one of the PSG committee meetings and/or job search workshops; attend the monthly mandatory meeting; and share your knowledge and expertise with others in a constructive, mutually supportive manner.

  2. Complete the required Job Search Training workshops.

  3. Maintain communication with the facilitator and committee chairpersons concerning attendance at functions by calling to cancel any appointments if necessary, following attendance guidelines given, and keeping the facilitator informed by providing a current resume and information about major developments in your job search.
